Well, our Elva’s new clutch system would require some fabrication

So, our new
clutch hydraulic system? We ran into a snag.
You see, the ideal place for the clutch slave cylinder mount on the transaxle was already occupied by the transmission mount.
We decided that the simplest way to combine the two would be to just move the transmission mount over about an inch and a half.
Sure, we would have to slightly move the mounts on the frame, but almost nobody would be able to tell. We cut, drilled and trimmed our new mounts for our
Elva Mk VI’s transmission before painting them with VHT black epoxy.
We’ll know how well this all works when we get deeper into assembly.
