I would like to thank the members and new members for coming out Monday night, January 30, to our first 2023 meeting.
Pete G. is working on a Car Club member and guest, Sunday Breakfast at Daddy's Grill (3682 Tampa Road 34677 Oldsmar) and a scenic ride after. We will send an email to all when date and time is confirmed.
Next meeting will be Monday February 27th, 6PM at The Eagles Club House, it is $1/2 price burger night!
The Monday March 27th meeting will be at 6PM also at The Eagles Club House.
For March 25th, if anyone is interested; there is the Gulf Coast Region 5th annual car show at the East Lake United Methodist Church, to benefit the "Toy Makers of East Lake". They donate handmade wood toys to children in hospitals. I have been there twice, it is limited to 100 cars if you want to go, I have attached the registration form.
April 24th meeting will be at 6PM also at The Eagles Club House, planning for the MAY FUN GOLF OUTING!
For May30TH, Memorial Day, we will not have a meeting, I have asked Kate at The Eagles, if we could have a golf outing (NOT A TOURNMENT), for club members and guest, other Eagle Residents and guest. The preliminary plan is for us to play on the Forest Course, tentative starting tees times will be 2PM. The cost will be $50 per player, more details to follow. THIS WILL BE FOR FUN, we will be looking for the best and worse scores, most lost balls, and more FUN ideas to come!
We will need someone(s) to "chair" this event!
I would also like to thank Bob Vail from the Keystone Motor Club for attending and sharing his ideas. The Keystone Motor Club Meets the 3rd Saturday of every month at FOX's Corner, 16921 Gunn Highway & North Mobley Road, at 10AM.
