Solution for fire ant bites....first aid tip if you are in the woods...

When fire ants bite you, they bend over and spit digestive juices into the wound.
It forms a "pimple" that forms a lump/welt, gets infected and takes forever to heal.....if it ever does.

When they bit me working in the yard, I scraped away the pimple first. It bled a bit.
I then sprayed the wound with brake clean. It disinfected the wound and brake clean
always dries your skin.
Burned for a bit....briefly. Kept wiping off the blood until it dried over.
It now has a thin scab over it and the healing process has begun.
I may be applying Neosporin or an aloe plant next... to speed up the healing

Had I done nothing, the ant bite would still be there.
