The silent martyrs ... unsung, and unknown to a civilization hell bent upon capturing and controlling nuclear power without a thought for natural balances our Mother Earth, The Gaia has arrived at after eons of gradual gives and takes. No one cares if radiation from such facilities has crippled young & old, birds and beasts. It is a sad and truthful film, describing clearly what
sense of aloneness, what immense isolation, what tragic living morbidity of radiated environment has enveloped these helpless people who are in no more control of radiation except to look at and be witness to the intensity, as though sheer measurement shall absolve them of certain degradation of flesh. Certain death. Prematurely painful death. What it is that we are doing to ourselves and our children and our environment we are not in a position to tell. But doing we certainly are.
