Installed Hellcat intake on scatpack todayI work construction and was off today because of the rain. I was hesitant on taking my bumper off my car which doesn't even have 500 miles on it but I said what the hell and did it anyway. I cant believe I was nervous about doing it, but man the bumper removal and install was esy as hell and took about 2 hours to do everything from start to finish. While installing the hellcat airbox, I found that it would be impossible to do the install without removing the bumper so if you think it is, it isn't. Also, you have to remove the headlight to get the snorkel in. The intake draws air from the fender like the stock unit and then also draws air from the front of the car like ram air, the new shroud included in the kit seals with the snorkel not allowing any hot air in and almost sits flush with headlight and sits just beyond the grill. Any questions, feel free to ask. I felt an instant change of sound not from the car under acceleration. can hear much on the video included reving the engine except more air sucking. Was also interesting to see how fast idle air tempertaures dumped after sitting at a light compared to stock. Well worth the 130 bucks and the time to install it. Any questions feel free to ask.
