Why do so many science fiction writers think that violence and fighting is interesting? There are so many very interesting subjects that could occupy scenarios of the future rather than battles, or fights in general. As if space and technology is only useful for war. These days if you speak about chemistry many people can't imagine any use for it except a drug lab. Science fiction screenwriters must be boring people.
