i wish it was that easy, lol. the check engine light is on but only when the battery is on (turns off when engine is running) and its throwing a code for just the knock sensor, because the idiots that owned the car before me thought it would be great to take the knock sensor out and leave it out. but i have to unbolt the ecu and take a flat head and turn a screw on the inside all the way to the right and it starts flashing a light and those series of flashes are the codes that tell you what part is at fault. my ecu seems to never throw a code for anything except my non existent knock sensor.
