seen a lot of people caring around tripods to shoot the car show ..... i really don't get why u need a tripod to take a pic of a wheel

i saw a guy setting up a tripod and blocking the walk way to take a pic of a wheel on a RSX .. then another guy setting up a tripod to take a pic of a intake or something in the engine bay... i can understand the people setup with a mono pod to photo the cars racing on the strip

if u cant adjust ur settings to not use a tripod in normal daylight at a car show u need to find a new hobby
