Some kind of wiring issue more than likely. something simple to overlook when doing the swap.

you're right, can't be bypassed. that's how the injectors work. It is either correct, or it isn't. Same way the coil works. It won't fire unless it gets that signal.
wait... are you asking where the ECU is?
