Well they are your thoughts, and frankly I don't care. You are not the one with a tuning company that has done 2200+ ecus in the last 10 years (942 of them by me), and until you are, frankly your opinion is going against the grain. There are cheaper methods and more expensive methods of tuning out there, but I bet you are not going to find "glengineering" as any kind of popular search term amongst them... you will find my name though... amongst every 240 forum and community in existence.
Your commentary about ecu technology has major holes in it as well. At the heart of a 2011 R35 GTR ecu I just tuned is a small 64Kb binary just like they have been using since 1979. I can give you a tutorial if you want to elevate your understanding of how these things actually work. Believe me that there is absolutely nothing special in how modern ecus work vs how they worked 20 years ago. Cement your thougts in facts and not personal opinion. Remember you are not the one that has a major successful name as a tuner.
Scott invented the company, and a way of tuning ecus properly (which was just a spin off from what Japanese tuners had been doing for years).. he did not try to reinvent the ECU. I have continued this method, improving it and have been providing excellent customer service along with it.
