Suprisingly enough the Focus does have a few squeaks and rattles coming from the rear. These really cant be heard until you remove your rear seats and the majority of your rear sound insulation interior etc. A couple of the people who already have this bar in their car say that the squeaks and rattles are virtually non-existant now. Of course I would install it either without the rear paneling or with a proper hole cut so the bar can make direct contact with the shock tower. Hopefully the bar wont fall short because of a lack of extra padding from the rear carpeting/paneling.
