wouldn't go solid roller unless you like to get in and adjust your lash on a regular basis (even with a stud girdle). Of course this depends on how often you drive it on the street, if you do at all.
If you're purely a race car and class allows for it, then I'd say sure go for it (btw, I've got a set of comp cams solid rollers for sale - $150 used for one season...
