Yep, thats true....

I bought the Black Talon that JR sold to Jerry. Was told that the drivetrain was fine... Also, that the tires had a month of use left of use in them.

The tires were all showing cords, so it barely made it to the garage from the trailer.

Back to the car, the odometer showed 113k on it. Well according to the title that I found in the car, it had over 200k........... After installing the AWD parts into my Spyder we found that the trans is shot. Slips 1-2, 2-3 so bad that I have to get off the throttle to let it shift. This is at 1/3rd to 2/3 throttle, 7-10lb of boost. Reverse is catching and releasing. So something is fucked... Also, found that it has a welded center diff. A very crappy job at that. If it was 'driven' by both JR and Jerry this would have been known. No one told me. After said and done. I only kept the gas tank, trans, t-case, rear end out of the swap chassis. The rest was trash that could not be reused.

The part that makes me add this to this thread is the fact that Jerry asked if I could drive the car over there so he could look at the issues with me. I have no issue with that, had no anger about the Talon's shortcomings that I was not told about. I got screwed, and put it behind me. I called him to see if he would be able around when I came over and just hung up after I told him it was me. I wasn't complaining to about him, wanting any money back. Just wanted some help.

Also, JR thanks for attempting to swipe the auto trans out from under me.... Thats pretty cute.
