Jerry, Orlando tried handling this in a civil matter. He called you and spoke with you on the phone expressing his concerns with your work after the transmission was opened up to inspect the inside. During the phone conversation, you suddenly told Orlando your phone was dying and you asked to continue the conversation the next day. Orlando agreed, but before ending the call he specifically asked if he was definitely going to get a hold of you the following day and that you would not dodge Orlando's phone call, to which you replied, "Orlando,I like you, your a good guy. I'm going to take care of you and we will definitely discuss this matter further tomorrow."
The following day Orlando patiently awaits your phone call until 7:30p.m. at which time he attempts to contact you by phone. Your wife answers and states you aren't home and she will have you call Orlando back. The phone call is never returned, so Orlando pm's you to attempt again to contact you on the matter. He then gets the replied pm from you that he quoted in his first post in this thread stating that you no longer wish to discuss this matter.
This all leads me to asking yoou a smiple question Jerry. What happened between the time Orlando talked to you on the phone were you said he was a good guy, that you would resolve this situation with him and the following evening to were you would not take his phone calls nor discuss the situation further in a pm? Why the change of heart? The way I see it, you were given a fair chance to handle this amongst yourselves in a private, dignified, and professional manner. Unfrotuantely you threw it away by choosing to close the doors on all civil communications which resulted in the creation of this thread.
Orlando called while I was driving home with a hot meal I just purchased. I was looking forward to eating that meal and watching my favorite TV program. It would have been best for him to call during business hours. That would have been a very good idea. I gave him the phone time even though that meant missing my show and having to eat my meal cold. When the battery died I kindly asked to extend the conversation the next day.
What changed was I dint even look at his pictures yet. I wanted to watch my show and eat my meal. After seeing the pictures I saw that Orlando was diagnosing the trans issues incorrectly. At that point I was pretty pissed that someone was accusing me of something I didnt do. It was quite clear from the conversation if I didnt pay Orlando the money he was asking for that he would would have no choice but to post pictures of the work. I asked my wife if THAT was worth 300 dollars to us. I find it funny that Orlando claims he approached this professionally.
A. he never contacted me to see I I wanted to warrant my work. thats not professional.
B. he contacts me after HE does the warranty work then demands I pay him or else. (very funny he failed to mention that part, maybe because to most that is blackmail) thats hardly professional.
C. then he posts his side of things with a title of "jerry rigged" and text with "Santa" etc. . yeah thats very professional.
D. Chris, did you really need to know the answer to your simple question or was this just a clear attempt to show everyone who side you are on on this? No need to answer. no one is that dumb.
If you post more crap that doesnt matter I will start posting crap about your skills. trust me you wont like it.
