(IE no one wants a 9 trans) if I had known it was an 8 trans all along I wouldnt have even had it to sell in the first place would have been sold long ago. . The gear ratios were too long in all the gears not just forth. And now that he is back with 4.53 he is better off with 8 ratios. his trans needed to be rebuilt worse that the first time so he was not really out anything. It needed to be rebuilt anyway. In the end it turned out a plus he has an 8 trans. Someone sold me a trans as a evo9. thats was wrong. I unknowingly passed it along as one.
I also not hiding a possible mistake with reverse gear on Orlandos car. But the way he handled it was completely wrong. He was a bad mechanic for not being able to figure out cables were his trans problem. that set a bad tone for the rest of the carnage. I was never contacted about reverse not functioning correct after he fixed the cables. How could I possible help? I would have been more than happy to correct the problem, just wasnt given a chance. Then he bashes my work c while calling me Santa while doing it. Yeah thats professional. . Sorry if you you dont like the way this is going down., No I dont need the 300. its the principal of things. I dont do anything unethical here in any way as I see it. Just trying to help as usual.
Its interesting how it makes me as so called bad machanic to not know my shift cables are bad, when the previous owner and I both drove the car with 3,4,5 r with no problems.. It would ocaasionally go into second fine but it was locked out. I had you mess with the tranny and I end up with 2,4,r with issues.
Think of the scenario clearly , Worked before , now it doesnt? hmmm
I made it a point that i tend to agree with you on the aspect of the cables being cuplrit . Once again that is not what this thread was about.
It was to point out what was found in the transmission.
Youve admitted that whats in the trans is the way you do things , Thats your preogative , You missed things and charged me for your home made build.
I wasnt happy because its not the way I nor others in this business go about fixing things.
END of story.
You have a mindset of your never wrong, I can take these components in this transmission and show any tranny shop/ technician that is reputable and they laugh and consider it a joke.
You could have used the proper parts and this would have never been an issue.
I couldve overlooked R wave clip as that could be a human error. The rest is negligence.
