I mean.. let me clarify.. the car will go fastest with the correctly matched TQ converter. Now if you had the same car with both opposites.. one converter tooo tight and one loose.. the loose one will et better. As the tight converter will lug down the motor longer.

Change turbo.. guess what.. need to restall converter. On my car the converter was tight on the 76. On this 88 its starting to come around. As it was designed for an application that made 1400 HP. The more power I make, the looser it gets. make sense?
yea i understand that.i just was lost at first with both of you saying it went faster with the loose convertor but i get it now.....i will find out soon when i get it back
