I dont care for nascar either. But if you walked across the track at daytona and imagined 20-30 cars screaming away at 200 mph, you kinda do think differently about it. That and you look at the roots of nascar, with them driving big ole cars off carlots, with bench seats, no seat belt harness, having to pin themselves againist the door so they can hold onto the steering wheel.

but anyway, no I wouldnt consider it racing, just a competition to see who is a better driver.
