you see here's where all the confusion comes in. so if you get passed you loose...but you have to have good style in not getting passed? so if i were the trailing car...and i decided to run better tyres, a grip suspension setup and just drive past the lead car...with no drift would i win?

If yes, then whats the point of having the judges and the drifting?

If no, then why should it matter if you pass the guy?

OR what if i were the lead car, with the best grip setup adn the most power, and just drove away from all the dr1f+3R's ...would i get the win?

and even then, that is just one specialized type of drift event are all drift events setup like the D1 races or do they have different judging criteria.

it's all a very silly to me...
