When you come to a red light watch behind you and be ready to grab the gas if the car behind you slams on his brakes. Hell you can wear that thing in a car and still get killed in a crash.A good helment and jacket is nice to have. Gloves I think are important because every idiot puts their hands out when they fall. I think a dumb white trash hillbilly with no gear on at all that rode dirt bikes, atvs and motorcycles since he was a kid is way better off than some doctor with his brand new bike and his 8,000 racing suit signed by the whole team.Some people just dont belong on bikes. A leather racing suit wont change that.
