Installed the springs at a local shop for half the price S&R charged and they did it in less than 2 hours. So the whole 4 hour thing at $100 dollars an hour is sad to hear from shops that I'm supposed to trust to have my best interest in mind. Customer comes first.
glad it went well for you. im sure that only 5% of the people would agree with you on this though, most shops go by a flat rate manual, either chiltons or *******, thats what we base times off of, not how long it takes, if they gave it to someone slow and it took him 16hours im sure you would pay that. Im also sure S&R is not missing your business at all, they are very busy with customers willing to pay what the job costs and not haggle. but congrats, hope your alignment turned out good as well. Customer service comes first, that is treating someone how they should be and not taking advantage of them, but ignorant customers looking for free labor and trash talking local shops come last in my book.
