Default "bad" sale/transaction? opinions?

if you have ANY debate or input in this, please read all of this so your argument is accurate.

ok so i sold my coilovers to a local guy, and he's claiming bad sales. i tried working with him and finally told him to pound sand.

i listed my STANCE GR2+ PRO coilovers, i bought them under the assumption they were +PRO's i used them and sold them as +PRO's well today i found out and got a call from the buyer they are only +'s. MY BAD, i admitted the error on my part and told him i will completely refund his money. he then later asked instead for small compensation for the difference. i said no thats ok, the coilovers are worth what i sold them for so either keep them or refund. well it became more of a hassle trying to agree on trading, i had finally become frustrated with the matter and told him we can not come to agreement, i am refusing a refund due to the huge hassle.

i feel bad to an extent, i misled an item but it was done out of complete error.

he payed $800 for stance GR2+ coilovers with less then 2,000 miles on them, the coils are in amazing condition and 100% nothing wrong with them. I am refusing the refund because the product is not at fault and i did not sell a bad product and the hassle to make one person happy vs total inconvenience on putting my car on the stands.

i try to make everyone happy and i am a strait shooter, i only debate this because i do lots of forum sales and your name/rep is the only thing that makes a good sale.
