I told him to drive to my place and pick up a meter so i could test all the ignition parts and check there ohms values.after checking a few things we came upon the dizzy.Chad said that vthe cap looked like it had two diffrent marks where the rotor was contacting pickups in the cap.i took the cap of and went to pull the rotor off and the dizzy came up a 1/4 of a inch.that thing was advancing the timing up down on its own.pulled the dizzy and saw that the roll pin was missing.first time i had every seen a roll pin fall out.
