as I understand it, the s14 diff is the same as the NA 300zx diff, or at least geared the same.
the TT Z diff had the taller gears and since people see turbo and think insta-fast, most people always end up with the wrong diffs. (J30 used the TT diff)
I've never actually verified that little tid bit, but the NA Z diffs are shorter.
