Default 1988 Civic Dx D16z6 Turbo Build....Comin back

Alrighty guys, I have been out for a while, and thought a couple months ago i miss it
A few months ago i picked up a 88 ef hatchback shell for the year and original body it was pretty clean for the price, had rear and front lip mudflaps etc.

I started about 2 months ago, and i plan on finishing by my birthday (june 30th) mainly everything under the hood the was not there is going to be brand new no short cuts taken. i picked up a z6 block disassembled then straight to the machine shop for prep, honing etc.



Motor set up

micropolished crank
LS eagle rods
Arp rod bolts
Vitara Turbo pistons 75mm stock bore 25-30psi
clevite bearing
STOCK head
skunk2 IM
full head job 3-angle etc.

Just a few of what i plan on doing within the month, Still need to assemble motor and do the misc. stuff under the hood such as radiator, starter, etc...here a few pics, dont have much yet but will update as the build goes on.

power goals? Hopefully on dyno day i put down around 300whp, with the stock head i will probably max out aroudn 18-20 psi, later plan on building the head as i go for more towards 400whp. Yes its a single jingle and its gonnnaaa ride
