to your point about the Z being a more enjoyable ride. That's debatable. I was personally more comfortable in my old s13 hatch than I am in my Z in its current state.
I find they both have the same wind noise problems (indicative of this style of door)
They both have the same road noise problems. (but then again, I have driven some Z's that were far quiter)
Personally, I found the 240 easier to see out of in all directions. Its almost like you can't see as much, or as well out of the mirrors because of their positioning as compared to the 240.
But, with that said, the Z does have a certain appeal that once you get settled in and your just cruising, that you just don't get from a 240. Its like, the Z isn't any work to drive. It just cruises. whereas the 240s seemed more like you had to pay attention to everything.
