My first GUESS would be the flycutting was too deep for a stock piston. Stock pistons arent made to be flycut. Aftermarket pistons have a little more meat in them to make up for the cuts.. stockers dont... Once could ASSUME that maybe the slitest little bit of detionation burnt a small hole in the valve relief. Thats just a guess from not seeing it
