sheps car was a trailered drag car long before it was ever in the 9s. only thing it had to do with being a street car was the street car class it ran in. he did not drive that car daily at all.
balancing the rotating assembly has nothing to do with the harmonics created in a four cylinder engine. a perfectly balanced engine still vibrates like crazy without balance shafts. engine bolts back out, oil filters come loose (aint pretty at 100mph) fly wheels come loose.
