I thought the HKS Super Dragger came with an exhaust ticket in the box...?

You basically implicate yourself in the first post. If you want to play the number game, the limit under FL law is 79dB at 50ft and 35mph, which is probably lower than a Super Dragger is at zero rpm and zero mph. This of course is a very outdated condition (1974) and has generally been replaced in other states by SAE J1169. That states a limit of 95dB at 20 inches away from the tip at 45* with the engine at 75% of the peak HP rpm. Those are the numbers that you're quoting (and exceeding) above, which also don't apply in FL. So you're above the FL limit, and above the more lenient SAE standard. Where's the ambiguity? I find it interesting that a stock GT-R exceeds the limit, which is a good indicator that you'll always have problems. By the way, these are just measurement standards, not what has to exist to violate. It's not like you can avoid the law by not driving 35mph or keeping more than 50ft from anyone.
