Default Need help please.

I'm trying to remove the clutch, fan and pulley from an LQ9 engine. As luck would have it the water pump in my Silverado is going bad and the 5.3 is set up just like the 6.0. So I am getting desperate.

I did some research. Ended up talking with a GM powertrain rep in Michigan.
There is a special tool used to hold the water pump pulley still so you can break the nut loose that holds the clutch and fan on.

I found 2 part numbers for 2 tools that do the same thing.
GM J-41240-1
and
SP Tools #99800

It looks kinda like a wrench but it has 2 tits that go in the small holes on the water pump pulley to hold it still.

Does anyone know where I can rent this tool or anywhere locally that I can buy it? I need it ASAP.

Thanks,

Hurst
