I agree, more than likely its a line. They sell union/splice kits to fix them for fairly cheap. And the airbags are not that expensive. The only thing really expensive is the air compressor itself. Get some soap/water in a squirt bottle and start spraying on the lines/fittings/air bags until you see bubbles... then decide from there.
