that's why i'm wanting to go SOHC, and get random parts, dented fenders, damaged hood... i still have a pile of 240 parts in my garage, and i haven't owned one in almost a year... some i can use, some i can't (S14 parts)... so, if everyones like me, i sure they've got random crap in thier garage that's been sitting for a while that's worth what? maybe $20 at most? it's a lot of $10-$20 parts that this car will need, and with enough of em, as miataspeed said, you'll have a car...
basically, if you're worried about the potential loss of an expensive part, don't donate it, i've already stated this wont be a superlegitzomgwtfdriftcar, it's going to a be a missile, built in the cheapest way possible, just to get it on the track...
