I have a 90 harness already, but Ray is telling me it wont work in my 89. I dont need any of the FI stuff, so Im not worried if that wont hook up.

I dont see why it wont. The only hassle you might have is with the turn signal because 89 had tilt wheel and its wired differently. But easy enough to fix. I'm putting a complete tilt column out of an 89 into my 93 and I'm carb'd.
Get him to elaborate as to why it wont work. If its just because of the turn signal/tilt wheel thats an easy fix.
