I am putting together a turbo set up with AFR 185's, short runner EFI on my Boss 302 with a 76mm BB Turbo. The cam is definitly the key here.
From what I understand with the big head/small cube debate and what actually will be fast and DD friendly, is a cam with low duration and fairly high lift, a good 112-114 lobe seperation and talyor the intake and exhaust events to the needs/use of the motor, N/A, boost or nitrous.
(185's are really not that big a head these days)
There a just so many damn choices out there you can go nuts!
