so was the 426 dodge (they made a few different engines with 426ci just fyi, you had the max wedge the hemi, yada yada) 440 magnum was also a 60's engine.

In the early seventies the government began its successful affray into boredomizing the auto industry. The nation's enthusiastic passion for cars in the 70s was surpassed by nothing, not the NFL, not the MLB, NASA, nothing. And now, after 40 years of government regulations and a couple indoctrinated generations we get excited over a six cylinder Buick from 1987.
