I hate to say this but I would stay with just a OEM non metal, because I agreed with Jerrys thoughts on a fuse like purpose, cause with the metal gasket the bottom end will go before the gasket does if something is wrong, at least with the non-metal you might me able to save your motor. And in terms of cost gasket is way cheaper than bottom end. But as the saying goes my 2 cents, but really its not my 2 cents just repeating what I agree with.
