yeah actually all vvti 1j's were single turbo. and they're pretty common on ebay as well as usually cheaper than the older 1j's. a cressida is prob not the best car for someone with limited automotive knowledge. nothing bolts on, basically everything you have to fab yourself or modify to work. trust me i own one. if i was you i'd save up for a jzx90 1j complete motorset and go from there. 1uz's are a cunt as far as piecing together drivetrain shit. and if you buy a "kit" it's usually waaaay pricy.
