All the franchise places wont work anyone over 20 hours. Kmart, Walmart, any places that hires min wage people wont work them more than 20 hours. After 20 hours they are required to put health insurance on them. So they hire nothing but part time people at min wage. Its pathetic. Million dollar corporations with execs making 6 fig salaries. And the people who do their grunt work have to work 3 jobs just to pay rent. Its despicable in my opinion.

35hr average for K-Mart, Sears, and Best Buy I know for a fact is "full-time" status requiring benefits. (Fiancee' is a Sears manager and I work at Best Buy)
Best retail slot right now is Best Buy, they still start people at 9-10/hr.
That's what I grabbed while I went back to school. Between my part-time job and the money I get from school I make about 15/hr X 40hrs but I put in about 60-70/hrs a week between school and work.
