alright, so everything has been welded up. big thanks to greg for all his help with the welder.
to show everyone that there will be very very minimal filler used.
some grinding and a little bit of filler.
better shot of the filler. its put on a little heavy currently so that it can be smoothed down. the majority will be removed when the sanding begins.
i still have a little bit of filler to put on for the first coat before sanding.
so i had to modify the k20a2 oil pump to fit the k24a4 block.
my friend chris came over and helped me assemble to block. pistons, rods, bearings, and oil pump are installed.
the rbc intake manifold taped up.
it also requires modification to fit... onto the k20a2 head. i traced out the intake mani gasket
cut and grinded the side off so it fits next to the upper radiator hose
i also removed the unnecessary mounting brackets on the top.
and..... i got my AN fittings in for my brake line tuck. thanks mark!!!!
been a while since an update. sorry for the long post.
