Ok... I'm sorry but that is just dumbest and most incorrect statement I've ever heard. Where the hell do you get that from, that the term "generator" implies only providing power to batteries? A generator generates electricity.... that is ALL! That electricity can go to batteries, or an electric motor, or whatever else on the car is using electricity at the time. Anything else you read into it is YOUR mis-comprehension... not GM being deceitful.
