yeah i replaced the fuel filter. it didn't show any trash in it. i replaced it not too long ago so it was new. i don't see any other filter on the truck.i checked all of the lines and they seem fine. Almost all hard line except for on the tank sending unit and from firewall to fuel rail. When i pulled the plugs they were pretty fouled out and smelled like gas. That's where i got confused thinking it might be ignition related. i just don't see how since i had no problems with the truck until wife ran it dry.
