Default 95 f150 help

I have a 95 f150 5.0 that my wife ran out of gas and burned up the rear tank pump. The front pump was already bad so i replace that one since it is the primary tank. Now ever since it ran out of gas it will idle fine and i can limp it around the parking lot but as soon as it gets a load or more than 25% throttle it breaks up and almost stalls. it kind of sounds like it has a 2 step in it. i changed plugs and fuel filter when i put in the new pump in as well. Does anybody have any ideas? I just don't want to throw parts at it. Thanks

Probably sucked up trash from the tank.

Change the fuel filter/s. Check to see if more than 1 filter.

If not the problem then check fuel pressure. Check fuel lines both inside and outside the tank/s. Kinks, broken or rubber lines collapsing in on themselves? Disconnecting the lines and blowing them out with compressed air may clear up any debris.

Edit:
Please dont underline. It makes it difficult to read.

yeah i replaced the fuel filter. it didn't show any trash in it. i replaced it not too long ago so it was new. i don't see any other filter on the truck.i checked all of the lines and they seem fine. Almost all hard line except for on the tank sending unit and from firewall to fuel rail. When i pulled the plugs they were pretty fouled out and smelled like gas. That's where i got confused thinking it might be ignition related. i just don't see how since i had no problems with the truck until wife ran it dry.

what about the rubber hose between fuel pump and mounting bracket.you still my have sucked up trash and could be clogged in the steel lines.

yeah i am going to pick up a gauge tomorrow. Truck won't hardly idle now. What is a BAP? boost a pump? i don't think these have them. i believe there is just a high pressure pump in each tank. If pressure is low than it has to be a blockage in line then i would assume. You know i was wondering how it is possible to suck up trash large enough to clog the line because there is a filter on the pickup of the pump that has a really fine screen and it seems like it couldn't pick something large enough up. Thanks for any help. Gonna test pressure tomorrow and see what happens.

ok fuel pressure is good. pulled plugs and they are black and smell of fuel. truck is idling fine now and i have been driving around barely pressing gas. if i try to give it more than 1/4 throttle it breaks up and backfires. wires, cap and rotor were changed about a year ago and look fine. i check spark with a spare plus in the wire and it seems to be fine. i tested tps and voltage checks in right. any suggestions ?

my understand of the tfi module is that it either works or doesn't. usually when it heats up it doesn't work. my truck always starts just runs like shiz with anything over 25% throttle or a load
