My car is sitting as a roller right now looking pretty pathetic. So its not going anywhere. Its been 12.30@111 with a 1.9 60' because of the broken posi. Thats with an approx 3600lb race weight. Figure 3200 - 3300 car weight and my fat ass weighs 300lbs. Little 306 did ok. And the car was tagged an insured. Perfectly capable of driving anywhere. I yanked the AC because I didnt want it. Gave the parts to Shaun,.. remember? Wasnt a race car on a trailer. I trailer everything to the track because I have a truck and trailer,.. so why not? My wife's 96 Cobra was her DD car,.. yet it still went to the track on the back of my trailer.
This is from the run in my sig. I dont have the 12.30 slip. Its been some 8.0 and 8.1 1/8 mi ET's. 2.0 60's leaving off dead idle. I have video of this run as well.
Anyway,.. I saw you running 8.7's - 9.0's when I saw you last. Pretty sure I have some video I took of you that day too. Never saw you run any 7's. Not trying to discredit you. Just when I saw you run I thought it was kinda ho hum.The 7's were on spray or NA? It was when Shaun first got his motor together (The second time LOL). He was having traction problems. He was running in the 7's that day. When Ford Speed came otu with their car and I let Shaun borrow my crappy little 12v air pump that took like 20 hours to fill his tire. I wasnt running anything,.. I just had my truck that day.
My son's car isnt going to run any 7's. I'm thinking mid to high 8's, or mid to high 13's 1/4 mi. Thats what it feels like. Its pretty squirrely on street tires. I guess I just need to get the car to the track one day and see what it will do. Its ready for the track right now.
