good bye to:
-charcoal canister, lines
-egr and pipe, lines
-map sensors, check valve, egrc-bpt valve
-400 feet of useless crap
hello to:
-rerouted pcv line
-rerouted valve cover breather
-a clean, gunk free intake manifold
gave up on:
-wiring harness under top manifold runners (too much work to unravel all the electrical tape and get whatever is keeping the section along the fuel rail stiff. gotta wait til i take the top manifold section off, if i ever do)
what it cost me:
-about 8 hours spread over 2 days, working slow and taking breaks to play with the dog and talk to the school children who walk home (i live behind the school - i am not a pedophile)
-10 cents in the form of 2 nickels, one in the header to plug egr return and one in egr with custom

gasket.
-oh and 2 cuts on my hand. damn bolts/nuts break loose and hand flys forward into whatever object gashes it.
engine bay so fresh and so clean clean...but only clean in the minimalistic sense. i havnt cleaned it up yet the mosquitos and darkness got to me. still eventually got to put the spare manifold on, from a '95 that doesnt have all the obd-2 bracket screw-hole casts in them. looks much cleaner and its painted up nice. with some polish work.
ehh forgive im me im bored. but i have mastered the free mods.
before /after pix soon.
hopefully try to weigh all the stuff too, it comes out to be more than i thought i can tell already.
edit* still need a 1995 ecu when i get money for one so i wont be getting the obd-2 CEL codes. then i can take the unused connectors out of the harness.
