i would have to dissagree, i have seen a few people make some good hp numbers with a short runner, there is a guy with a hpa type mani and hes making like 225 ish if i remember, if ya have a properly setup motor and a tune it should help but u will have a pretty bad loos in torque.
i think a high compression motor with a short runner would do work
