i would have to disagree on the short runner statement though, i saw huge gains with my custom short runner manifold, nothing is cheap for a vw let alone a vr6, the factory internals can handle some power and turbo is a good way to go i have the 2.9L VR6 in mine and with just a few mods and 10lbs it makes 338HP to the wheels, on 15lbs it jumps to almost 400 i run stock internals(rated for 500Hp)
N/A or force induction with the short runner?
Also none on the mass produced SRI for the VR6 have showed any significant gains on a N/A VR. If he does anything just get a 2.9 manifold or make a clone.
