Who said high strung? I said it was built with the intentions of more power than the LS1 in which case they changed the heads, intake manifold, exhaust, cam and other things. Look what nissan did, they changed some stuff around and tuned it differently so VK now makes 420, and I doubt thats highly strung either. But its as simple as that the power output from factory is more dependant on what type of car its going in than anything else and you know that. Your just ignoring it.
