LS9 makes 638 HP
LSA makes 556 HP
LS3 makes 430 HP

Hey look all pushrod motors, in smaller overall packages, that make more power, and probably get better fuel mileage.

Wow sweet, with direct injection, variable valve timing, variable lift, all that work, to make less power, in a larger overall package.

But hey I guess you can claim it does it with less displacement

Similar year production engines, the pushrod motor making more power with less displacement.

Similar racing class engines, same power same displacement

OHC crew comes up with engine from 2011 to finally attempt to 1-up the 2003 pushrod motor
