If you compare the LS1 to a VK56 stock for stock the VK comes out on top. Your arguments are one sided. Aston martin V8 vantage - 400hp out of a 4.2L V8 Audi 4.2 v8 makes 412hp. etc etc thats the same as your LS6.

You wanted to compare apples to apples
VK56 5.6L LS6 5.7L
320 HP 405 HP
5.6L GT1 GTR
490 HP
5.5L GT2 Corvette
485 HP
Come up with an apples to apples, same displacement OHC setup that actually makes MORE power than a "redneck low technology pushrod v8"
And I dont mean dig up specs on a 98' camaro to compare with some GT1 car
