alright, driving the car... it starts sputtering one day and running on three cyl. i maintain my motor like a baby. i notice my cat is shot, replace the cat the next day, car still runs crappy on the way home from work then vwahla! it runs awesome again. that last for another 30min then its back to 3cyl yuck. i diagnose that my 2nd from the closest cylinder is getting spark through the wires but not through the plug. i put some brand new iridium ngk's in and gapped them to .044. car runs like a champ... for about a few hour and has a hiccup or two but still fine. today as im driving home from work i think hmm.. ill change my fuel filter again, why not it's cheap and some insurance towards a healthy future(i did my last one a year ago). on the way to pick it up what do you know...... fucking 4cyl action again. its cleaner and resonated sounding lol, but still the same. it sounds like a boat, no ticking, no tappping nothing of that sort, the motor sounds very sound via the engine bay. its causing the car to vibrate and drop about 2-300rshared_pm.
i come home, pull my fuel pump relay to de-pressurize the lines to swap it. go to crank the car over anddddd now it wont start. makes the dingy door open chime, but clock shuts off when key turned fully. i put the relay back in and still nothing at all, even hook up a battery jumper and it states my batt is at full charge. im pissed off and i go to lock my doors and notice that my seatbelt computer is now whining from the plug closest to the driver, i unplug it in fear. so whats the verdict guys? i checked my injectors via the screwdriver clicking method and alll sound fine. my connections are fine too. oh and to note, before replacing my plugs i checked the old ones and took out the 2nd cyl one that was not firing and placed it back in the car and it ran fine for like 30 min?
