If you dont know what your doing, These blocks are far to easy to miss something or just screw up. The block halves have coolant running from each side, Spring a leak there you got coolant and oil mixing and its as easy as a little movement connecting them, Theres also a few other O-rings between the 2 halves, A miss spot of FUJI bond could ruin the day, ECT...... There are so many things that can go wrong. My advise is to spend a couple hundred bucks and have it done. And by a shop with a good Subaru REP (BIG valley is the only one I real know, Others say they can but its work so any shop will say they can). Also dont read into everyones Threads, on rs25 or Nasioc alot of them guys get issues within the break-in, Not alot of people know what they are doing with these cars. Everyone wants the D.I.Y. factor even if its far out of their abilities. It will cost you ALOT more if the future.

And Asking Subaru people if they like beer . Common these are the fine wine type of guys lol.
